TWM Live presents PH2 featuring Jeff Shadbolt and Bob Manton from The Purple Hearts, who will be joined on the night by special guests The Chords UK featuring Chris Pope on guitar and vocals.
Jeff Shadbolt and Bob Manton were original members of the English mod revival band ‘The Purple Hearts’ in 1978 and toured the UK with Secret Affair on ‘the march of the mods’ tour in 1979. Tracks like Millions Like Us, Frustration, and Jimmy gave them UK chart success. You’ll get to hear PH2 perform the classics along with more recent tracks at this Colchester show.
On the night they’ll be joined by The Chords UK. The band is the continuation of legendary Mod Revival group The Chords and they perform all of the hits such as Now It’s Gone and Maybe Tomorrow along with new material.
DJ Alan May, known to many for his global number one Mod show ‘The Glory Boy Mod Radio Show’ and his ‘Electric Sweat’ show on Totally Wired Radio, will be playing tracks on the night inspired by his love of the mod revival and all related genres. Also on DJ Duties will be Tony ‘TC’ Clarke.

Access – There is no lift to access the top floor of Three Wise Monkeys. There are five flights of stairs to reach the top floor with rest opportunities between each flight.
